Here’s the thing, before we became a band like this big, I was in your position as well, I have experienced watching so many live performances, I have seen many singers too, with unimaginable pressure, even when their voices can’t come out, they still carry on, that memory still remains in my mind, there are people who stopped midway, but I want to keep going today, and that’s why I’m still standing on this stage
And for that, our current album DETOX has so many strong messages, some of the are political, no, overall it’s political theme, and for ONE OK ROCK, it’s not exaggerating to say that this is the most political message we have ever put into an album
5 years ago when we decided on the theme of this album, we strongly believe we have to travel to the world carrying this theme with us
I live in America, so when I look at the situation there and politic in general I feel like something huge is coming to change, and in that huge change, without doubt someone gets hurt, someone’s heart hets wounded
Whenever things swing from right to left, pr left to right, great pain always comes with it
As musicians ourselves we wish to in any way save people who are suffering, tp those who carry pain, through the power of music, through the power of rock
But then like if we were the one who made an album filled with such strong messages, and canceled a show because voice won’t come out, or my leg hurts, or I caught a cold then honestly I would start to lose the meaning of why we made this album in the first place, that’s why I’m stading on this stage today, no matter how painful it is, no matter how hard it is, i want people to keep facing forward
I apologize that you might notice my voice sounds strange but this is our style, evening situation like this, the members and staff support me with everything they have and allow me to stand here in the center

With deep respect to fans in Malaysia, who spare their time to come here today, bought ticket to see us, I want to deliver my feelings to you with all my heart, no matter how my voice sounds like
Before starting this band, there are many times when I thought my life is already over, but this band saved me which is why I’m able to keep standing here today
So as long ad it’s in front all of you, even if I were to collapse here, I won’t regret it, please stay with us until the end

Malaysia calls for the gates of al-Aqsa to be opened immediately. We call on every government with genuine influence in this matter to move beyond statements and apply real pressure to secure its immediate reopening.

To Palestinian Muslims marking Eid under these conditions: your faith, your patience and your perseverance are seen. You do not stand alone. Malaysians will continue speak where we must and act where we can.
