Exactly right. How can it say "good faith" when the court itself, Roberts and Kav included, rule in Allen, QUITE EXPLICITLY, that 2023 lines were drawn with impermissible racial intent--and then say in Callais that they were NOT overturning Allen? It makes no sense. Raw politics.
