@YourAnonOne Sooo, we’ve entered the “My Dad could beat up your Dad” phase of the war now? Cool, cool! Good talk. He really does have all the best words… 🙄
The world's biggest companies have caused $28 trillion in climate damage, a new study estimates: https://t.co/3clxDDZCym
Read that again.
Time for the people that are fueling this crisis to pay for the damage they're causing.

@mattyglesias Same with social issues. The more ‘family values’ they claim to be, the more it’s about saving a hypothetical unborn fetus but never about social programs that might acutally help children and families. Pop em out by all means, but if they need support later they’re a ‘taker’.
While everyone has moved on, I remain deeply troubled by Trumps threat to wipe out an entire civilization. No American president has talked in such terms. No American president ever should.
@TomMoyerUT@wholemars Yep! 💯Fast charging is great for long road trips but that’s about it. For the day to day, inexpensive, truly ubiquitous level 2 charging is key. People should just expect to be able to plug in wherever they park, whenever they park for however long they’re in the space.
@wholemars Hmm, maybe? I could see that being worthwhile for road trips etc. Seems like there’s plenty of room to explore other payment structures.
As a HW3 owner though who has already paid for FSD twice I’d just like that sorted. I shouldn’t have to pay per anything…
@RealMattMalecki@wholemars 100% this! I bought FSD twice, on my two HW3 Teslas and I am just not in a financial place to be switching cars every 3-5 years even if I wanted to. As long as the solution is “just get a newer car” I think I’m tapped out… 💸💸💸
If a Democratic president had bumblefucked his way into a war with Iran and sent gas prices higher than a Musk rocket, the Republicans would be screaming for impeachment.
@Nowooski@sdamico My biggest worry with the building science first approach is it sets up one more mental roadblock / prerequisite before switching fuel source to electric. Comfort is key, but end of the day there is no R Value that will make a gas appliance run 100% clean.
@Nowooski@sdamico The way I see it, nothing wrong with a tight envelope if it helps improve comfort, but also nothing wrong with cracking a window either.
Lived in Japan for years where ductless mini splits are the norm, there are plenty of leaky buildings and it all works just fine… 🤷♂
We’re told there’s not enough money for health care, affordable housing or education.
But somehow there are billions for an illegal & unconstitutional war with Iran.
We need a government that works for all of us — not the military-industrial complex, not Israel, not super PACs.
