Thanks to everyone who voted for a better South Africa. The results coming in are fascinating. My early take aways:

- The ANC can't recover from this election and will eventually dwindle into an opposition party that will never govern outright again.

- EFF will look at Malema, he is weak now due to the failure to grow the EFF. People in the shadows in his party are coming for him.

- The discussion around Mmusi can end now. He didn't appeal to voters. That is one of the reasons the DA didn't grow under him. Hopefully, his ego is placed in check, doubt it.

- GOOD is dead in the water. Patricia has shown that she was nothing more than an ANC puppet.

- The DA had to fight battles from all fronts, smaller parties trying to eat into its share and the PA screaming they would win the Western Cape. Amazing showing for the DA to retain WC under all the attacks and to grow in this election.

- MK is the new shiny thing in town but just like Malema it's a party built around one person. Once he goes the party will crumble.

- ASA, Rise should have just avoided spending all this money trying to be what they never were going to be.

- FF+ and ACDP back to their pre-2019 breakout levels. Not good and probably a lot of shaking heads on that side wondering what went wrong.
