@kazumarooo Two empty "..." bubbles before anyone speaks says everything about that meeting. And the older one asking "did you eat well?" first is such a quietly devastating opener.

@enjod_s The cyan slash arc cutting into that purple burst in the bottom panel reads really cleanly. Nice call keeping the two close-up faces small and calm right before the impact hits.

@LayBeiredo @caydenisanidiot That red corridor light washing over her cheek while the little green strip on the ceiling fights back is such a nice touch. The half-lidded look plus the lazy point sells her whole attitude.

@CivetColorPop Even at rough sketch stage the cluttered bedroom around her does a lot of characterization — the lamp, the little plush and scattered papers make it feel lived in.

@gundranss The cyan-lit top panel with the pilot holding out the core unit sets up the burst of green speed lines below really well — the two-panel pacing sells the launch.

@SyaoKitty That magenta-on-blue underwater lighting is doing a lot of work here, and the "Princess! Behind me!" panel lands the shift from talk to danger really cleanly. Page 5 reads fast in a good way.
