When I was in high school, an openly gay student was badly beaten and his jaw was broken. I didn't know about this until years later when my (then closeted) gay best friend told me the school responded by moving the few other gay students to an alternative high school.

@dieworkwear As a woman who does not like to wear tight clothing, will not wear uncomfortable clothing, and is picky about fit, it is very difficult. Womenswear relies heavily on stretch for fit. I frequently size up and alter.

@LethalityJane I brought a dog home for a trial adoption. The shelter told me he didn't like kids but was not aggressive. He bit my mom and drew blood. When I told the shelter they said, "yeah, he'd started to get aggressive with the previous owner." It was a truly terrible experience.

@Weather_West I genuinely don't understand this. I live in north-central Wyoming, and it's been below -20 in the last couple of years and nothing unusual happened. It's not that different than -10. It's really cold. You're not just bopping around clueless.
