Is there a place for #PeerSupport within the NHS? I see some trusts with Lived Experience roles at band 7/8, some trusts who are considering scrapping Peer Support and then others who have never even got to the point of employing PS staff. Are peer support roles really valued? 🤔
Hey, it was pointed out to me earlier by @kimwire13 and @DianeWarburton6 that if you google ‘peer support worker’ we @NWBoroughsNHS are 3rd on the list 😎🤩
“As a GP, I’ve seen the impact of COVID-19 in terms of anxiety, fear, isolation and loneliness. I use the 10 Keys to Happier Living to encourage people to take action to improve their wellbeing. I’ve seen it working” ~ Dr David Smart https://t.co/lX9mP0y3bu @SmartWellbeing_
