@feeagle99 @parthpunter Bengal was 1st partitioned on religious lines in 1905. People took to the streets to protest, Curzon called it back. The riots in 1946-47 left millions dead/displaced. The leadership in 1950s-60s-70s ensured people fought poverty, not each other. Calls of JSR is new aggression.

@san_x_m @unworldlyIdeas Never understood police’s role. Common people can’t get justice fm them. They avoid writing FIRs. Then blame the victim. Then say they are busy with more imp cases. And if it’s a financial crime, they want a money. These days i hear they are also communal.

@ICICIBank When starting my company in 2018, ICICI Bank offered me current a/c at 0 bal. Later, it went up to 10k. Recently, i’m receiving SMS’s urging me to maintain min. Rs 50k as balance. I didn’t sign up for this. Penalising customers for your liquidity needs is criminal.

Durga Puja feels safe because there are thousands around us. The night train feels unsafe because there’s no one. Finally education and sensitivity is the solution.
