Do women do better with off-pump CABG? Our 27-year analysis of 1,898 propensity-matched women says yes. OPCAB was linked to ↓ 30-day mortality (2.1% vs 3.9%) & ↑ 20-yr survival (68.9% vs 51.4%) vs ONCAB. HR for long-term mortality 0.61, p<0.001. OPCAB better for females!
