It's been almost a year since the giant explosion that took our stream from ~400 average viewers to above 10,000. In the beginning of this I formed a corporation and hired our moderation team and editors on full-time.

At the time people claimed we would be bankrupt within 6 months or that mods shouldn't be paid. Yet you, all of you, supported us and what we were doing. Together, you never stopped doing so.

Today we have 12 moderators, 2 editors, and 2 caretakers for the ferret rescue. Everyone is on full-time with benefits or is a contractor that receives equivalent pay to those benefits. We don't decrease payment for people in other countries so everyone is paid equally within a role regardless of their location.

We couldn't do this without you. Literally.

It depends on whether there is a return to the starting point of “investment in possibilities and dreams,” rather than “return on investment. Our industry, all involved, has become “too focused on stable business.”
For example, Nintendo and PlayStation's God Father Mr.Kutaragi and Yu Suzuki of Sega invested more in the challenge of “Dreams and Ideals” THAN in the stability of their businesses and titles.

Sad that the changes to the Twitter algorithm in recent months mean that rage bait, culture wars and misinformation are getting promoted way more than before. Seems that people who create misinformation for engagement are getting rewarded a lot which is a shame imo.

@MightyKeef My review is that from genshin and on, the quality is solid. They feel like real games, though star rail has more of a mobile game feel based on the auto battler combat. Definitely worth trying genshin as that feels the least like a mobile game out of all of them in my opinion
