Slot could go unbeaten next season and win the treble, and I still wouldn’t warm to him.
It goes beyond the style of football. It’s everything about him - his demeanour, personality, character, the way he conducts himself and handles situations. I’ll never take to him #LFC
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
Michael Edwards wants to leave and Richard Hughes wants to go to Saudi. They’re both out of contract in 2027.
We’re letting them decide the entire future of this football club. Remember when we used to be well run? What honestly happened?
@anfieldsociaI I’m a visually impaired fan that uses the headset it’s @givevision we’ve been using it for this season at Palace and we’re able to watch replays and VAR. Hopefully Liverpool will be taking up the headsets next season as they already have a few fans that use them
Liverpool may be desperate to stick with Arne Slot, but that stance won't withstand the Anfield crowd turning against him. Today felt like that - these fans are just sick of watching a passive, toothless brand of football they have seen for over a year now.
It’s not just the structure, it’s the conditioning. Playing once a week and they’re shattered, because they don’t bloody train.
Above all else, that’s why Slot has to go. You’ll never win anything if you can’t compete physically as well as technically.
No need to train much as per Arne Slot players went on holiday trips. Mo Salah was right. The standards has dropped so much really since the Klopp days. Every one in just in second and third gear.
Slot is always having breaks and holidays and days off. Rarely watches or visits the academy. Never in Liverpool training fringe and youth during NT breaks. Gives a day off between a weekend and a midweek fixture, and many days when it's a week gap. We are very undertrained.
Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season.
The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield ❤️
