The tax net keeps getting tighter on the people, they are making more money, but the people still no see basic amenities. LGA Chairmen now see bigger allocations from FAAC, but barely enough do projects for the people. We keep hearing that some persons share the money amongst dem
All Nigerians who love democracy should rise up to the evil crippling this country right now. We are not all conquered people, this is not normal! This is not normal.
Why is Hanks Anuku laying on the road in Wuse 2... is there any help that can be rendered. or does he have to die too?

Nigeria is where it is because the so-called advanced Countries who are partnering with Nigeria don't want us to move forward. I can not imagine how they see what is happening in Nigeria and still want to stick with this Government. Is this how they practice their democracy?
Dear @PHEDconnect I saw these two poles on a street around Okilton Road, coming through the rumuokwuta axis. Any strong wind will send these poles to the ground or someone. Do something soonest!
A Gulf-based imam just told me something Western diplomats won't say out loud
He sat down for 45 minutes and dismantled the entire "new Iran" narrative piece by piece
The IRGC isn't Iran's army, he said. It's Khamenei's private militia, and it's the parent company of Hamas, the Houthis, and half the militias running Iraq
Trump wants to meet Mojtaba Khamenei. Calls it an honor. Tawhidi's response: he doesn't even know who that is
Khamenei read the Muslim Brotherhood's Quran in prison in 1963. Same ideology that built Hamas, al-Qaeda, ISIS. Tawhidi traced the line in real time
The UAE got hit with drones during a war it never asked for, and Tawhidi made it clear: Gulf states aren't scared, they're owed an apology that hasn't come
I pushed back hard, called the IRGC label outdated diplomacy. Tawhidi wouldn't move an inch
Is peace with Tehran is even possible?
This is the conversation Washington isn't having
Thank you @Imamofpeace for the interview
Hezbollah’s outrage is the clearest sign that this agreement is a step in the right direction. Every effort should now be made to help Lebanon confront and dismantle Hezbollah.
THE POWER OF VISION AND PERSEVERANCE
The greatest tragedy in life is not failure—it is giving up on a worthy vision simply because its timing did not align with our expectations.

Governorship Candidate, Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC)
I don't just understand Dangote.
During the US-IRAN escalation, before Iran could complete their statement on the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Dangote had already increased fuel price from N820 to N1350.
But, since the US and Iran reached a peace deal and reopened the Strait of Hormuz, na force Dangote use commot N20 from the new price.
That's why I don't like Nigerian inflation; once it goes up, it's never coming down.
WIKE'S GREATEST POLITICAL DEBT IS TO THE PDP — AN OPPOSITION LEADER CANNOT STRENGTHEN APC AND CLAIM TO BE SAVING PDP
The statement issued by Hon. Jungudo Haruna Mohammed may have been intended as a defence of Nyesom Wike, but it has instead exposed one of the greatest contradictions in contemporary Nigerian politics.
If Nyesom Wike cannot be grateful to the Peoples Democratic Party, then it is difficult to imagine who else he can truly be grateful to.
History will record that the PDP made Wike a Local Government Chairman. The PDP made him Chief of Staff. The PDP made him a Minister of the Federal Republic. The PDP fought political battles that ultimately produced him as Governor of Rivers State. Every major political office he has occupied was made possible by the platform, sacrifices, and support of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Yet today, many PDP members are asking a simple question: how has Wike repaid that political debt?
Instead of strengthening the party that produced him, he has become one of the most influential figures in an APC administration. Instead of helping to rebuild the opposition, many Nigerians believe his actions have contributed to the weakening of the PDP at a time when the country desperately needs a strong and credible opposition.
Jungudo's statement only deepens these concerns.
When he describes Wike as PDP's "star player" and "most valuable asset," PDP members are entitled to ask why the party continues to suffer internal crises, electoral setbacks, defections, and organizational instability while this so-called star player enjoys unprecedented influence in an APC government.
A star player should strengthen his team.
A star player should help his party win elections.
A star player should unite his party.
A star player should not leave his party weaker while his political opponents grow stronger.
The claim that praise from the APC National Chairman somehow validates PDP leadership is equally revealing. The issue is not whether Wike is competent. The issue is why the APC appears to be benefiting more from PDP's finest talents than the PDP itself.
What value is political competence to the PDP if the primary beneficiary of that competence is an APC administration?
Jungudo insists that Wike remains a loyal PDP member.
But loyalty is measured by actions, not declarations.
Genuine loyalty to an opposition party requires strengthening its structures, defending its interests, supporting its candidates, and helping it return to power. Many party faithful believe the evidence points in the opposite direction.
The argument that Wike is merely on "loan" to the APC government is perhaps the most extraordinary political theory ever advanced by an opposition party.
Political parties are not football clubs.
No serious opposition party loans its most influential leader to the ruling party while simultaneously preparing to challenge that same ruling party for power.
Such an arrangement raises fundamental questions about political priorities and divided loyalties.
The issue is not whether there is a transfer clause.
The issue is whether the outcome of this arrangement has strengthened APC while weakening PDP.
Nigerians judge politics by results, not by metaphors.
No one disputes that projects have been executed in the Federal Capital Territory.
The real question is political.
Has the same energy devoted to strengthening the image of the APC government been devoted to rebuilding the PDP?
Has the same commitment been deployed toward uniting the opposition?
Has the same determination been used to prepare PDP for the task of challenging APC in 2027?
Those are the questions that remain unanswered.
Jungudo also argues that Wike's achievements demonstrate the quality of leadership produced by the PDP.
If that is true, then the PDP should be using such leaders to strengthen the PDP platform, not to strengthen the public image of an APC administration.
@ARISEtv The call for State Police is long overdue! We need it, it's very important to have it. About Governors abusing it, you don't hand dem d Police without monitoring and that is where Police Service Commission can be put to a better use. There is what they can IA in US.
@TheGridPost Where I reside, the operator always takes off the power when there's rain fall because the area is very prone to flood. It's normal here especially when the rain comes with heavy wind.
