The US-Iran MOU and the Israeli-Lebanese agreements are incompatible as I see them.

If both are pursued, neither will be achieved.

It appears the administration is working against itself, and Trump appears too disinterested in the details to recognize this.

Inserting ourselves into Lebanon’s sectarian struggle & allowing Israel to keep its presence in Lebanon does nothing advantageous for us, but will most likely ruin our chances at opening the SOH and keeping it open.

Pressers about liberating the people of foreign nations & threats of U.S. military action may sound great in DC & on social media, but they don’t help us keep the energy market stable—and that’s the only interest in the region that matters to the American people.

We have to put America first, or we will lose it all & get sucked back into this war.

🇸🇩 Sudan’s government Humanitarian Aid Commission says the RSF attacked an aid convoy carrying food to El Obeid, killing a driver and wounding several others.

🔸 The commission said the attack took place Friday near El Rahad, targeting a truck carrying 50 tons of flour intended for civilians in the besieged city, with most of the shipment destroyed.

🔸 Officials accused the RSF of escalating attacks on humanitarian convoys, fuel stations and commercial vehicles along the main highway linking North Kordofan and White Nile states in an effort to trigger fuel shortages and disrupt aid deliveries.

🔸 The commission called the attack a violation of international humanitarian law, saying it deprives millions of civilians of urgently needed assistance, and urged the UN and international community to condemn the incident and hold the RSF accountable.

🔸 The attack comes as the RSF continues to mass forces around El Obeid despite repeated U.N. warnings that an assault on the strategic city could result in mass atrocities.
