Technically, Pedri is anti-chaotic ie where another midfielder might take three touches and try to force the game, Pedri can take one, manipulate the opponent’s shape and play the next pass. His best qualities are scanning, body orientation, press resistance, tempo control and positional intelligence.

That is the beauty of Pedri ie you can watch him and think he hasn’t done much, then look at the structure of the game and realise he’s constantly making the next action easier for everyone else.
