The corruption you’re pointing at was largely started and maintained by the West. During the Cold War, the United States and Soviet Union both treated Africa as a playground for competition over resources, military outpost etc. I mean they assassinated leaders who wanted to be independent. All in all they sabotaged African governments for 60 years. Then you have people like you that point at the fire but don’t acknowledge how the fire got there. Large amount of corruption was indeed not from the Africans themselves. This is also documented, I don’t mind being wrong honestly please let me know where I can find this info you mention.

You’re using African participation in the slave trade to argue that American slavery and its aftermath don’t matter. That’s a deflection. The existence of African slave traders doesn’t eliminate 250 years of American chattel slavery, it doesn’t undo the Black Codes, it doesn’t undo sharecropping, it doesn’t undo redlining.

2 “every country did it” is correct, and every country carries the weight of what they did. Germany still pays Holocaust reparations today. Japan still has formal national conversations about WWII atrocities. The argument that spread out historical wrongdoing cancels out what happened here is disingenuous asf & doesn’t prove a point.

3 “only the USA and UK stopped it” this is factually wrong😂😂 Britain abolished the slave TRADE in 1807 and slavery entirely in 1833. The United States didn’t abolish slavery until 1865 after a civil war that killed nearly 600,000 people. Haiti abolished slavery in 1804 after a revolution. France abolished it in 1848

4 “nothing is stopping anyone in 2026” the Federal Reserve’s own data puts the racial wealth gap at roughly 8 to 1 between white and Black median family wealth. That gap exists because Black families were legally excluded from the New Deal’s housing programs, excluded from federally backed mortgages through redlining, had wealth-building neighborhoods deliberately destroyed in cities like Tulsa and Rosewood, etc….

5 “least racist country in the world” by what measure bro😂? The UN has formally cited the United States for systemic racial discrimination multiple times. We incarcerate Black men at 5 times the rate of white men for equivalent offenses according to the Sentencing Commission. That’s not opinion. Strictly numbers.

Lastly some of those countries listed are authoritarian countries & don’t have free elections at all China and Russia don’t have competitive elections, and even in the democracies you named, France elected a Black mayor of Paris, Sweden has had prominent Black politicians, Australia has Indigenous representation in Parliament. This argument definitely falls apart quick
