GPT 6.1 Sol XHigh vs Sonnet 5.5 Medium
OpenAI launched "Dots" and GPT 6.1 Sol yesterday, so I made an unofficial launch film with their new model and with Sonnet. In code, same brief, track and voiceover (Gemini 3.8 TTS).
One of them is GPT 6.1 Sol. Which one? Names at the end.
this is what a night looks like with 5 dots running on GPT-6 Astra while I sleep
10:40 pm, I close the laptop. Echo, my chief of staff dot, splits tomorrow's work between the other four
11:15 pm, Scout goes through new GitHub issues and Reader opens the Linear board and Stripe dashboard on its own cloud computer
1:30 am, Pen drafts a reply to a client and stops there, because sending anything needs my OK
1:32 am, I get a Slack ping, tap approve half asleep, and Pen sends it
3:00 am, Judge checks every draft against my rules and saves how I like things done, so tomorrow it won't ask twice
8:30 am, one brief is waiting in Slack with what got done, what's blocked and what needs me
36 apps connected, 5 cloud computers, and the only thing I did all night was tap approve once
it feels like fake warmth and faceless corporate friendliness. i don't want to be that boring guy, but i don’t get the love. to me, this looks like a branding crisis in the ai industry
i get grok’s little agent experiment seems to have worked. now open ai wants to blend in and take a piece of the same market
as a designer, i get why products built for everyone tend to play it safe. but not to the point where a new feature looks like what we’ve already seen from grok and so many other ai products
this belongs in a branding textbook. under “what not to do”
one of my favorite little features we shipped in dots: with the app open, just raise your phone to your ear to call your dot
(you'll need to toggle this on in settings, voice)
Five OpenAI Dots agents + Higgsfield work together to take a product from discovery to a full brand launch.
They build the website and branding while recreating viral videos with Genjutsu for both Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
One team coordinating the entire launch in parallel.
introducing dots for social media
drop in your niche and it deploys a team of marketing agents that find, watch and script what's going viral on TikTok & Instagram.

Three OpenAI dots built this entire motion design project in 15 minutes for $30.
- One builds the opening scenes.
- Another handles animation curves and camera moves.
- The third creates visual styles and 3D titles.
Built with After Effects + Higgsfield.
This is insane.
Sol 6.1 is "Apple" moment for motion design: up to 8x CHEAPER and ~4x FASTER than Opus 5.5...
Try this prompt: "Create a 15-second motion-design film that gets you hired before anyone reads your résumé. Invent the concept, push your strongest animation techniques, and synchronize every movement with expressive sound design. Make every second surprising. Render and deliver the finished video"
This is an iPhone moment for AI
OpenAI just announced "Dots" and it totally changes the way we use AI forever
the wildest part of the keynote wasn't a feature
OpenAI engineers showed how they're running swarms of Dots internally for bug fixing, code & product updates. Dots are shipped by Dots.
now Higgsfield plugged the same thing into creative work
a crew that works while you're away and checks in by text, call or email
this is what "AI employee" was supposed to mean
