For 3 years I didn’t see $1 while learning Android development. But at 2023 I was earning $4k. I never thought to switch to web development. I stayed on my domain.

Am I saying you shouldn’t learn something new? Nope, but have one thing that’s your core.

My mentor is Android engineer who started the day Android was launched. He never thought to switch stack. But he has worked with Meta and Disney.

Some of you, the moment you don’t get a job, you switch to something else.

I mentored a lady who’s a flutter developer, quite good at it, today she’s doing data analytics because she couldn’t get a job.

Think domain expertise. You don’t attain that status in 6 months or 2 years. You attain it by sticking to one thing.

Stick with JavaScript long enough.
Stick with React long enough.
Stick with python long enough.

Leave your blue ticks on whatsapp. Reply who you want and who you don't.

Take the calls you want when you want.
PRIORITIZE your fkn self.
Please your mental well-being first.
If you die, everyone will still be fine.
That is the reason to be stubborn.

You are not living for anyone or on anyone's terms.
Live for yourself, that is the only way you can show up for people.

Some of you, anxiety wants to kill you.
Work anxiety, whatsapp anxiety, church anxiety, mosque anxiety, relationship anxiety etc

Stop that nonsense and control your life and it start by you learning how to say NO. SAY NO and be cold about it.

if you want someone to stop visiting you, TELL them.
If you want to stop going for something that's affecting your productivity, SAY IT

If person tax you & you don't want to give them money, TELL them. don't dodge it. TELL them.

Your anxiety comes from you not pleasing yourself. You give everyone your time and have less time to check the items on your todo-list. stop it
