Morning all, this weeks volunteer email is out but we are still looking for volunteers for this weekend.

📣 parkrun events will continue to be suspended until at least the end of April

This is to keep all parkrun countries following the same timeline, but we expect suspensions to go beyond April

@ingoiolo81 Most measured it as 5.3kms personally I got 5.25kms. 5.3 seems to be the average.

@AliceFWard Every parkrun is different. Many do not allow dogs due to nature of their course. We are now joining that list. It is a decision made for safety reasons only.

Heads up! Due to our increasing numbers we can no longer allow dogs to participate in Kingston parkrun. This is for the safety of runners, dogs and other towpath users. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

another Saturday down at Teddington Lock 'volunteering not running' (stupid left knee!) & it can't be said enough that every @parkrun @parkrunUK is a joint weekly effort including unsung heroes-so @kingstonparkrun is also indebted to @RBKingston & @ThamesPathNT for all sorts 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

@parkrunUK @kingstonparkrun this morning. Despite being chilly there was an atmospheric fog sitting on the Thames which made for quite a spectacle on the way (which I forgot to take a photo of).

Don't forget that we are cancelled on Saturday 2 November due to the Thames Meander Marathon taking place on the towpath. Why not walk, jog, run or volunteer at one of our friendly neighbouring parkruns? @bushyparkrun @richmondparkrun @craneparkrun
