Privacy is finally having its long-awaited moment in the crypto world. This year alone, "crypto privacy" hit an ATH on Google searches, zcash pumped over 700% in 3 months and privacy apps like Railgun are processing $150-250M monthly.
Ever since bitcoin genesis, we've been fighting for decentralization(Freedom from government and banks surveillance, and the right to manage our money).
When I was onboarded to crypto, one of the benefits of defi that we were taught was that we were finally free from the banks and the government, that our money, safely stored in our wallets couldn't be tracked by authorities.
But ironically, in our decentralised finance, EVERYONE can spy on your finances - The bartender you tipped at the bar, your boss or fellow employees etc.. and many times this visibility can lead to life threatening issues, because people know how much is in your crypto wallet.
Eric Hughes wrote in the Cypherpunk's Manifesto (1993): "Privacy is the ability to selectively reveal oneself to the world." This idea has become one of the core pillars of crypto, since cryptocurrencies were born from the cypherpunk ideals. In fact, bitcoin white paper promises privacy through pseudonymity - your wallet address serves as your identity instead of your name.
But there was a flaw, transactions are PUBLIC. Anyone can track your address, monitor your spending, trace your entire financial life. We mistook pseudonymity for privacy.
But this year we've seen things change, the data speaks for itself:
> Zcash's shielded pool grew from 1M to nearly 4M ZEC
> Major institutions finally entered the space
We've also seen some notable privacy developments:
> Ethereum Foundation formed a dedicated privacy team and launched Kohaku (privacy wallet SDK)
>Paxos partnered with Aleo to launch USAD - a private, COMPLIANT stablecoin
> OFAC lifted sanctions on Tornado Cash (blacklisted in 2022)
> Zcash wallet Zashi integrated with Near for privacy-preserving cross-chain swaps
> Noir (ZK programming language) saw a massive uptick in developer activity
It's very obvious that the institutions are here and the infrastructure is maturing.
Privacy is going mainstream!!!
-------------------------------------------------
We've got some technologies leading this revolution:
> Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK)
> Trusted Execution Environments (TEE)
> Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)
[I made a table each of them and a bit of comparison, check it out in the Images]
Here's a brief note on each of them:
> ZK: Prove something without revealing it. Used in: Zcash, Mina, Aztec, StarkNet
> TEE: Secure hardware enclaves that even the OS can't access. Used in: Oasis, Secret Network, Phala
> FHE: Compute on encrypted data without ever decrypting it. Used in: Fhenix, Zama, Inco Network
Each has its place. ZK for verification, TEE for practical computation now, FHE for the future(so many potentials).
---------------------------
Finally , Privacy isn't about hiding illegal activity. It's about preserving human dignity in a digital world. The cypherpunks knew this in the 90s, Satoshi tried to solve it with Bitcoin. Now, three decades later, we finally have the tools to make it real.
TL;DR: Decentralization without privacy is f*ckery 😂❤️.

AI agents are starting to move money on Mantle.
But before an agent swaps, routes liquidity, deploys, or composes with a contract it did not write, there is one question it should be able to ask:
is_this_safe()?
Most AI audit tools give you a chat response.
TryAnneal gives agents a security verdict backed by multi-model analysis, static analysis, exploit intelligence, and an on-chain attestation on Mantle.
We ran it against Merchant Moe’s live router:
→ $60M protocol
→ 100/100 verdict
→ permanently verifiable on Mantle
→ ERC-8004 agent #131
This is not “AI that explains security.”
It is programmable trust infrastructure for the agent economy.
If you believe agents should verify before they execute, help put TryAnneal in the top 2.

John Ternus just became the new CEO of @Apple.
But who is he?
Here's the history of Apple, and why John was picked to lead Apple in the era of AI — one-shotted by Motion, our new video agent.
Motion did research, gathered context, created a storyboard with visuals and voiceover, and created this motion design video — all from a single prompt.
