@vampireshoshi@ChristandGuitar@ArtJbing Isaiah 52:6
Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”
And His name is Jesus who is Lord and Savior.
@vampireshoshi@ChristandGuitar@ArtJbing John 8:58
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I AM!”
This verse explains Jesus as God irrespective of ur thinking of Paul as a liar. And Isaiah 52 & 53 chapters explains the core of the new testament.
@Lordjairus64@broda_viktor@githiiciuri@ouma_neko That is one of the things that Christ teaches.
Relationship with Him is more important and choosing Jesus means eternity with Him in His kingdom ❤️
@MoiraineS34051@thespianletters@ArchTheAtheist Yes history documents that.
But there's still a difference between those Christians and the way of life Jesus taught. See Luke 9:54-56 and Matthew 26:52
@Yayay82827@ScottRCarpenter I can't really explain but Matthew 24 just summarizes what Jesus spoke of the end times. The book of revelations has more detail about it. And it did say the gospel will reach all parts of the earth before the end times
@Yayay82827@ScottRCarpenter I meant the words of Christ in general, He spoke a lot in parables and had to explain most of what He said even at that time.
@Yayay82827@ScottRCarpenter Just bcs i don't understand d meaning of those words doesn't mean they aren't true. The Bible speaks a lot in context and u may not see d direct meaning of the words u read on its scriptures. One can only have perfect understanding of its words though d Holy Spirit
@Yayay82827@ScottRCarpenter He probably could be referring to a later generation bcs some of d things He predicted, are taking place in this current age
@Yayay82827@ScottRCarpenter Yes, it is a mystery bcs no one knows whether those events took place at the time He said it would happen. But History did document the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, which also He predicted and i would assume the rest of those events were also fulfilled.
