Most thinking of BIM careers believe a software is the break. But software operation is becoming 0 value in industries. Build core construction knowledge and skill in solutions to its real problems, across software. This intellect is value, not labour.
Conquer fear of delayed gratification.
Pick architectural knowledge over pay for 3 years. Bad for ego, great for prospects. Prioritise knowledge base at the start, which compounds rewards later. Wining big pay today that flattens out for subpar skill in 5 years is wasted time.
