The overarching goal of the 1001 Optometry product page redesign was to align both the product listing page and the product detail page with what new visitors, returning visitors, potential customers, and repeat customers want to see, ultimately driving a higher conversion rate.
When I reviewed Addicted to Audio’s existing Shopify website, my goal was clear: improve conversion rates by directly addressing usability issues affecting customer interactions. See below for a sneak peak into my work.
How I designed Bodha for Shopify—built for elegance and conversion.
Bodha is a brand that is luxurious, therapeutic, and intentional. But their previous site was hosted on SquareSpace 7.0. So I redesigned it for Shopify.

Real craft in physical forms, like woodworking, watchmaking, or car assembly, involves a deep understanding of materials, precision, and a commitment to excellence. These crafts demand a hands-on relationship with the medium, where creativity must balance with practicality, durability, and functionality. The level of care, attention to detail, and iterative refinement in these crafts offer valuable lessons for digital design.
When you translate this to digital design:
• Attention to Detail: Like how a woodworker ensures every joint fits perfectly, digital designers should obsess over the smallest details—pixel alignment, colour harmony, and typography.
• Iterative Refinement: Craftsmanship thrives on prototyping and perfecting—a process that mirrors how great digital products are built and improved.
• Functionality and Aesthetics: In physical crafts, beauty and purpose go hand in hand. Digital design is no different—it has to not just look good but also solve real problems for users.
• Respect for the Material: Crafting with wood means knowing its strengths and limits. In digital design, it’s about designing for the medium—web, mobile, or other platforms—with an understanding of their constraints and possibilities.
• Timelessness and Quality: True craftsmanship creates things that last. In digital design, that means focusing on usability, scalability, and creating thoughtful systems that stand the test of time.
Ultimately, something is inspiring about the patience, intention, and pride that goes into real craft. When you bring that same mindset to digital design, it elevates the work from just functional to truly exceptional.
