Ol Kalou people foolishly voted thinking that it was William Samoei Ruto they were taking home. Ruto is still the President, now and beyond 2027 while the one who was impeached remains impeached. And there is nothing you can do about it.

Painful but true: Parts of Mt. Kenya appear to have shifted away from H.E. Ruto.
The Ol Kalou results suggest this, including among the Kikuyu, who make up about 13% of Kenya's population.
The stated reason is the demand for equitable development across all regions of Kenya.
