In a toxic family, the scapegoat often spends years attempting to adapt to ongoing abuse. The family normalizes the abuse, until the scapegoat finds a way out. Then, they deny it. The family spends their days recreating false narratives while the scapegoat leaves & finds peace.
2. Find Your Why:
On days when motivation is low, , the only thing that will keep you going is your 'why'. You need an inspiring incentive, a purpose that creates a powerful desire in you.
Like Nietzsche said;
"A man who has a 'why', can bear almost any 'how'."
Things always end up working out. Sometimes even better than you can imagine. Remember this when you feel like you’re in a hard place or you feel like you’re being challenged the most. Believe in where you’re headed. See the bigger picture.
Unhealed trauma will sometimes give you a high tolerance threshold to abuse. Just because you can cope with it well doesn't mean you have to accept it.
