@CathsAgainstJws Your first duty is to save your own soul and the souls in your care.
It is sinful to put yourself in a situation where there is a danger to your faith.
So not attending your local parish when it poses a risk to the faith is perfectly Catholic thing to do.
@EdieSki123 Next time, just confess your sins. Not good to use the sacrament of confession to clarify things or mention the SSPX. It probably just angers the priests and does nothing helpful.
Better to discuss these things outside the confessional.
@AMDG_Derek Anyone who attends the SSPX has already been called schismatic and excommunicated before. Nobody who has willingly been attending will leave.
@Catholicizm1 Ironically, with the NO priests making up their own absolution formulas, skipping the "i absolve you", and not even accepting some things as sin, it is safest to go to the SSPX priests for confession.
@EricRSammons@BreeSolstad Whoever wrote paragraph 5.a was smoking something - "opting in such a way... that this option..."
Either smoking something or hiding behind ambiguity.
