Happy Valentine's Day & #MeetTheCommitteeMonday to all who celebrate! This week features committee co-chair @KirbieSondreal who's tickled pink to be posted on her favorite holiday 💝
@LaceyWilson4 My proudest moment was delivering pupusas from 5 hrs away to my sister bc that’s what she was craving most while pregnant :’) (can commiserate on pupusa distance complaints!)
@rachisaurus I was cutting last minute labels for an exhibition opening & sliced my thumb with an x-acto knife. Had to go to ER & cried so hard about missing the big open that the doctor cleared the room to hear “what was really going on”
@NCPH_NPstudent@ncph My first conference year too—I remember feeling the same way and being SO energized by the environment, the people, the sessions, all of it!
We all know the Monday after #DaylightSavingTime begins can be rough, but we’re sure this #MeetTheCommitteeMonday post will perk you right up! Allow us to introduce you to Kirbie Sondreal (@kirbiesondreal), who just joined the New Professional and Student Committee in fall 2020!
Listen, @nytimes, if I can teach college first-years to write in active voice, I think you all can manage it. Who shot the photographer in the eye? Who hit the reporter with a pepper ball? Don't contort the English language to defend cops who terrorize and assault journalists.
So so grateful for the virtual graduation CGP put together this weekend (despite commencement’s indefinite postponement). Not quite how I imagined these 2 years to close but it was pretty perfect♥️ (also v thankful for my mom’s incredible tassel creating abilities🎓)
