@RupertLowe10 That little 10mph increase would increase stopping distance, compared to 70mph, by about 80ft - or 5 cars in lane in front that won't be hit. And if the limit was 80mph what speed are all the knobs who do 80mph do now? 90mph?
@SaulGPowell@let_part@NHPUKOfficial This shift represents a gear ratio drop of approximately 2.83:1. In practical terms, this means your 3rd gear is nearly three times "taller" than your 2nd gear. There isn't a standard road bike with that gearing. Yours must have incorrect sprockets fitted. You need a garage
@Jan_Leeming Never mind the donkeys Jan, you're coming with me and the lads for our builders' brekky down the caf every Friday until we get you to 9 stone!
@al_eye_am @but_cyclists Thanks for helping, sadly, I'm still a bit confused. I was going by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 (TSRGD) that classifies the lead vehicle "closest" to the crossing still as the lead vehicle all the way through the controlled area for visibility
@ChrisCillizza These "losses" are just preparing the "we don't always side with Trump" defence when they do side with him on bigger things. These are the Susan Collins voting against Trump moments, just for show, not effect.
@au_tom_otive They're so keen to be offended that we've completely skipped over the "Christmas stuff is out too early, it's still November" rants. I miss them, is this Brussels' fault or all the people in "7 star hotels with flat screen TVs and a personal GP"?
