@griptmedia Well if you have kids here, and don't have family in Ireland, you need to pay extortionate amounts for childcare so often working is not a viable option. Also because of racism (encouraged by gript), these people have much less chance of being employed.
This, this and this again. It is time for homework to go. And time for parents to use their collective voice. Great piece @colnoc77 https://t.co/IDEMXLUteq
Imagine a world where we said, what’s going on with the children? So many of them are angry and distressed after school. So many of them are shut in their bedrooms. So many of them are anxious and unhappy. So many of them disillusioned at 15. 1;
On my (@IrishRainforest) second last day on this account, I want to talk about the big lie that is Irish 'forests'.
One of these is a forest, one of them most definitely is not.
One covers around 1% of Ireland, the other 10%.
@Elizabe92635004 @Independent_ie Fair play to this lady for helping to normalise something that should be so normal.
Breastfeeding rates in Ireland are so low compared to other European countries. Huge number of women that want to breastfeed give up because of limited support
@Elizabe92635004 @Independent_ie So is putting a picture of a child eating an ice cream in a newspaper also narcissism? There is no evidence to say extended breastfeeding is harmful. But the nasty responses to this article show people are terrified of it, and I think that's because we rarely are exposed to it
@Independent_ie Love how most of the replies are men who don't have boobs. Also hilarious that all these 'disgusted' people would be less 'weirded out' if mothers just fed their kids milk from a cow's udders instead 🐄

Masks have been obligatory in my workplace since I started in 1986, worn through 3 pregnancies and a variety of illnesses. They are not difficult to wear
@Luighseach Aw I ♥️ Ray's interviews. He's gentle and sincere and not loud and hyper in your face like many radio presenters. Agree its obscene money for anyone to earn. But really love listening to him!
