@1969Led@GeorgeTakei Your reply is exactly what I would expect from a person who washed out of high school because you were too focused on chasing Led Zeppelin around and toking it up. Give a second try.
@swar1214@GeorgeTakei I am truly sorry you have never loved and lost. I am currently a proud father of two, a step father of two others, and a widower. I hope that you will eventually love as deeply as I have.
@OffTheMarkComic@Limax7 I assume you made it to the Treasure Valley safely. It was a delight to meet your mom today. I’m letting that little QRP radio rest for a couple of days on full power. I think a couple transmit capacitors are really low. Anyway, it will be put to great use.
The judge for my hearing today was literally 90 minutes late. He called me twice and my lawyer once. He waited 2 minutes. Now my hearing is postponed. I assume that is a good thing. I don’t want a grumpy judge at the end of the day.
@artsyhonker I won’t debate. Wood heat is as dirty as coal. I did have a wood stove for primary heat for several years. Wood heats you 4 times: 1) cut it. 2) split it. 3) stack and carry it in. 4) burn it. There are much better ways to heat.
I applied for a new call sign for my amateur radio license. I’ve been mulling it for several years. Let’s see if the @fcc approves it. From KB7QOD to A7OD. No one has ever held A7OD. I think I have a 98% chance.
Even Libby (the online library application) has fallen into the Halloween trap! Next, I’ll be flooded with Christmas novels! I do love a great Christmas. But there are only a handful I actually want to read. Cough *”A Christmas Carol.”*
Fun fact about clergy collars: we usually wear detachable ones because they were the fashion of the day. They were detachable because they got dirty quicker. We wore them backwards to distinguish us from other men (yes, men.).
BBQ temperature is important. I have an outdoor thermometer which measures two at a time. I stole mom’s Tupperware box. She noticed. This set lives 100% of its life outside. Don’t ever try to fool your mother. She will find out!
And, yes, I do have three barometers in my house. One is my great grandfather’s, one is my father’s as a gift, and one came with the digital indoor/outdoor thermometer. They all read pretty similar.
