A senior citizen in the UK has to pay 35 years in NI contributions just to qualify for the basic state pension. Approx 1 in 7 don’t even qualify for this. It’s an earned benefit - not a free handout.

Just be grateful that Maidenhead haven’t got a rogue owner. As seen with many clubs, the damage done can sometimes be irreversible as it is with West Ham.
