⚠️ In just the last 3 weeks our CABS teams in #Cyprus have dismantled 213 limesticks together with Police & Game Wardens.
22 birds including this beautiful #WoodWarbler have been carefully cleaned & released unharmed!
3 poachers have been convicted for trapping with limesticks.
Two young lads decided to throw 2 bricks through Hays Travel Sunderland today. Why? Seriously why? We’re a Sunderland based business who do huge amounts for the local community, dedicate nearly £1m a year to charities across the UK, we’re taking on more than 500 apprentices. Why?
The criminal, violent attack on a hotel housing asylum seekers in Rotherham is utterly appalling. Deliberately setting fire to a building with people known to be inside.
South Yorkshire Police have full Government support for the strongest action against those responsible.
I have never forgotten telling man after man in cell after cell how long they would get in prison for the 2011 London riots.
Once enthusiasm for lobbing bins at police has waned, once your pals have been arrested, once the booze & adrenaline subside - you realise.
Then regret.
I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear.
This man sows hate, lies and division.
He is a grifter and a conman.
He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.
RT if you agree
P.s. multiculturalism is great.
Between 2012 and 2020, 2 people were killed by cyclists
Obviously that’s 2 too many
But during the same period 100 cyclists were killed by motorists every single year
Why is the focus on the first rather than the second?
Try not to fly, persuade your friends & family not to fly. Take trains. Turn your heating off. Eat less meat. Do what you can & demand more from government - national & local. Brutal heatwaves and submerged cities: what a 3C world would look like https://t.co/BqJVLnr6oh
This front page splash is based on a *0.1%* decline in numbers at private schools.
When was the last splash on state school funding, e.g., still being below 2010 levels?
If you want a good example of how power works in Britain, just consider how many broadsheet front pages are devoted to the relatively trifling problems of private schools by comparison to the day-to-day and long term problems faced by the state sector (where the vast majority of kids go).
It is time for the @BBC to change its stance on promoting Reform and Richard Tice at the expense of @LibDems. Reform won virtually 0 seats, whilst Lib Dems won more seats than the Conservatives. Time we saw less of Reform on the news and Question Time etc. #LocalElection2024
Brilliant demolition of Brexit on live TV.
You’d never see this on a BBC vox pop.
Rachel in Parliament Square tells it like it is at the #PeoplesVoteMarch.
We live in a supposedly free country where journalists should not just disappear, let alone journalists as great as @SangitaMyska. Put her back on air now, @LBC. https://t.co/QCm2tn6vi1
