It's sad when somebody dies, no matter who they are. You are free to mourn them. But one life isn't worth more than another, and we are in the middle of a humanitarian emergency where people are suffering, and people will die without help. Nothing should stop us from fighting.

Events cancelled, putting people out of work who need those jobs. 10 days of mourning where MPs can grieve and get paid, yet everyone else still has to go to work, because if we don't we starve. The cost of living crisis described on the BBC as "insignificant" next to this.

Because she’s one of them. She worked for Shell. Her leadership campaign’s biggest donor was the wife of an ex-BP exec.

In response to someone keenly pointing out this was just another form of privatisation, and REAL nationalisation was the answer. Of course I agree, BUT... we have a Tory government who will NEVER nationalise a thing, and an opposition led by Starmer who has also ruled it out. 1/6

The unions will strike for fairer pay, which we should fully support. But when it comes to the cost of everything else, we are relying on the mercy of a Tory government. And they have none. 5/6

What we the people need is clout and money. This example has a thousand holes, but the principle idea is to turn capitalism against them. A united entity competing against profit-driven establishment, not for the purposes of paying out dividends, but to save peoples’ lives. 3/6

No amount of weekend protests is going to change that. Tories simply don’t care about the little people, and Labour are overrun by anti-socialists.

So we are stuck. No options left. Bills going to skyrocket AGAIN next year, and traditional forms of protest won't make a dent. 2/6
