Meet Kesha, the only cat in the entire Arctic Ocean archipelago. 🦊❄️
Deep in the frozen tundra of Svalbard, where cats are banned to protect local wildlife, one rugged ginger tomcat became an unlikely resident. Kesha was rumored to have been officially registered as an "Arctic Fox" just to bypass the government's strict environmental ban.
Though he had an owner, Kesha loved his freedom. With a coat thickened by sub-zero winds and an ear torn from wild tussles, he spent 14 years greeting tourists and wandering the snowy streets. Whether the Arctic Fox story was true or not, Kesha spent years doing what no other cat was supposed to do—living in Svalbard.
