#Azerbaijan has planned to start a new war and deliver devastating military strikes on #Yerevan. Azerbaijan is ready to attack the capital of Armenia with long-range missiles, which will cause casualties among the civilian population. This is a very specific calculation by #Aliyev. Why is Azerbaijan plan to attack Yerevan itself and cause casualties among the civilian population?

Like a medieval dictator, Aliyev has adopted #Putin's tactics in the war against #Armenia. Aliyev sees that Vladimir Putin destroys the peaceful settlements of #Ukraine, kills peaceful people and children, but isn't punished. Putin's impunity emboldens Aliyev. Azerbaijan is confident that hitting the capital of Armenia and other settlements will not be punished internationally.

In 2020, Aliyev waged war against #NagornoKarabakh for 44 days. After the attack on Armenia and the occupation of Armenian territories on September 13, 2022, Yerevan didn't give up the way of protecting the rights of the Armenians of #Artsakh in international structures. Azerbaijan intends to increase the level of military pressure on Armenia so that #Pashinyan's government will sign an agreement that will give Aliyev the opportunity for unhindered ethnic cleansing and genocide in Nagorno Karabakh.

Azerbaijan wants the Armenia-Azerbaijan agreement not to mention Nagorno Karabakh, not to start negotiations through the #Baku-#Stepanakert international mechanism, and to turn the Nagorno Karabakh conflict into Azerbaijan's issue by #military pressure and starving.
