Truly overjoyed to see the Union Cabinet, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, approve the revamped Khelo India Scheme with a historic outlay of ₹36,441 crore.

Having had the privilege of serving as Minister of @YASMinistry, this moment fills my heart with immense pride. The seeds of a robust sports ecosystem that we nurtured are now blossoming into a comprehensive national mission, one that will discover talent from every corner of India and take our athletes to the world stage.

This is not just a scheme; it is a powerful investment in our youth, our dreams, and the future of a sporting superpower.

Congratulations to every young athlete of India. This decision will open new doors for thousands of young athletes, strengthen coaching and infrastructure, and take Indian sports to greater heights.

A beautiful continuum of vision and commitment towards our youth and a Viksit Bharat.
