In Odisha job conducting bodies like OSSC and OSSSC have become a complete joke now. Almost every exam they conduct ends up in a High Court case leading to cancellations or postponements & process continues for years. They are ruining students careers & wasting their time only.

“Double Engine” Politics Derails Odia Dreams: Bhubaneswar Metro a Victim of Central Sabotage!

The Bhubaneswar Metro was more than just a transit system, it was Odisha’s blueprint to become an industrial powerhouse within just 3 to 4 years. Fully state-funded, driven by Odia vision, and planned with a clear 2027 deadline, it promised to transform urban mobility and the entire economy of the region, truly a symbol of #OdiaAsmita.

But what do we see now?
The BJP-led “Double Engine” government abruptly cancelled all contracts, halted progress, and forced a central takeover — without any local consent or financial necessity. Odisha never asked Delhi for funds. The state was exercising its federal autonomy and state prerogative to develop its urban centers in the people’s interest, a right that must be defended against central apathy.

There is no law mandating central involvement unless financial assistance is requested. Odisha was fully within its rights to build this metro independently, an example of #OdishaForOdias.

Look at Tamil Nadu’s Chennai Metro Phase 2, nearly state-funded, where central government delays in releasing even a small 10% grant stalled progress for years. This shows how central “support” often means delays and political games, not true development classic case of opportunistic politics.

For 8 decades, national parties and outsider bureaucrats have reduced Odisha to a mere pawn. The core of Odisha’s pride, the Odia Asmita, is under attack again. This flagship metro project is caught in political paralysis, sabotaging the #BhubaneswarMetro for Odisha’s future.

The people of Odisha, especially from the Puri-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack corridor, the first phase beneficiaries must rise and loudly call out this #AntiOdishaBJP government. Their local leaders have failed to represent Odia voices or protect development. They were elected to speed up growth, not stall it.

This anti-people approach exposes their inefficiency and their role as pawns of the Centre. We demand immediate transparency. The state government must reveal every technical detail behind this sudden and unilateral project cancellation. Odisha’s people deserve full accountability to uphold #OdiaAsmita and fight for the #YouthForOdisha who will carry our legacy forward.

The time to speak up is now. Stand united.
Demand answers.
Demand development on Odia terms.
No more politics that stalls our progress.
