Week 3 of Summer Learning students got to dig for definitions from our read alouds, have a relay race to get the letters and spell words with blends, and played math games like 5 in a row and race to 100! #SummerLearningWRDSB

@enovapower came last week to @lkwwrdsb to teach us about where electricity is made from, show us how electricity travels and talk about some of the dangers with electricity. What a great start to our science unit! #grade6 #science

Kicked off the measurement unit today by measuring items around the classroom in one unit of measurement and then challenging them to convert that same measurement into a different unit #grade6 #math

This week @lkwwrdsb students consolidated their knowledge of trade agreements and fair trade by participating in a hands on trade activity. Each table group was a different nation working to trade through different world events that changed prices of items #grade6 #socialstudies
