Why haven't phones and smartwatches been combined together? Like a futuristic armwrist gadget. Enough people are using wireless earphones anyway to make that leap, at least for the affluent buyers. Plus it will push the innovation on bendable screens. Would be cool.

@ilyasut The peak of intelligence is selflessness. A person who has reached the peak would have seen the value in developing awareness, through which comes empathy which leads to altruism and finally selflessness. It's only a problem when you get distracted and stop developing it midway.

Humans study humans mostly through the 2nd way, a little bit in the 1st way. AI studies humans fully in the 1st way, but perhaps it can be tricked into the 2nd way in the future.

@paulg Even in an intellectual journey, it's location, location, location. If your 1st axiom itself is in the later part of the journey, there's less chance of it being the truth. But the closer it is to the base truth, more mental energy needs to be spent to reach the final truth.
