@IndyCincy @the_transit_guy I agree with that! Something needs to be done bc the bridge carries way more traffic than it was ever intended to and creates a bottleneck - but it’s not falling apart. 200,000 cars crossing daily will naturally create maintenance needs with any bridge.

@IndyCincy @the_transit_guy Brent Spence absolutely gets maintenance done, but not emergency structural repairs. There was a singular concrete incident from an exit ramp in 2014, and an emergency shut down in 2020 bc a semi exploded on the lower deck. The viaduct is a disaster though.
