@cobbo3 From today, Alan is going to start speaking truth. Forget , capital gangs. BBC & its Englishness. If you're Ugandan & don't sympathize with Alan, you don't live on planet 🌎-- tuition for kids. Landlord's money, fuel. Finally M7 got a very juicy job for a Muganda.
Mr Jim Risch, who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, described the just-concluded elections in Uganda as a “hollow exercise staged to legitimise President Yoweri Museveni’s seventh term and four decades in power.”
“But even more so than Tanzania, Uganda is a key regional security partner to the United States. Yet, its ruling regime prioritises domestic control through political violence, abductions, imprisonment, intimidation of opponents, and the misuse of state resources to maintain its grip on power.”

@HEBobiwine Anything like World Order still in Place? Someone admits brazenly openly that He killed innocent people, who voted against his Father. Can @ICC take note? Remember, the 1985 Nairobi Peace Talks (jokes) failed, WAS His Father insisting -- Must be No Killings by the other side.
@TheStudyofWar Has anyone written extensively about who has enabled this war? It's not USA, not Putin, and obviously not Ukraine. EUROPE.
Because Europe lives in FEAR, this war goes on. And the Kremlin is aware of Europe's FEAR. What would Churchill have done today?
@SpireJim To even remotely think that @AndrewMwenda proposes extra-judicial killings in Uganda is despicable. Parroting the-- firing squad proposed by his friend the first son. All blinded by Gold, a good car, a few dollars.
@TaraCopp@AP In Africa, most of our geographical features were given White People's names. We didn't fight. We Just have local names for them. Lake Victoria, Albert. Queen Elizabeth, George---don't fight. Just call them what is easy for your mouth.
@Acyn But, who will say "Elon, that seems like maybe that's, you know, there's a conflict there ..." when your hands are in the pie, protected by President? Unless, you're not human, and don't like wealth and material things in billions. That's why a country needs checks-and-balances?
@cwfcreatives At age 6 or 7, my mother told me a story of 7 girls ... the seven little sisters and the monster called Zike (read Zicky) ... I grew up at a mountain of superstitions ... with its constantly flooding river .... then the war and AIDS came about the same time I was growing up.
@CNN A great choice. African great at efficiency. Who knew of re-usable rockets before him? Department of Government Efficiency. Reusable toilet paper, cups and bottles. Reusable bullets and missiles. Don't underestimate 47. American inefficiency needs an African, and? Yes, India.
@IlhanMN Despicable, as Hamas is, we need some middle ground. If Omar is silenced, who speaks for the close to 2 million in Gaza? They don't have an American president on their side!!That's why we have representation. Two wrongs won't justify & make the presumably more powerful right.
BREAKING: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in a ‘near catastrophic’ car chase overnight, after being pursued by paparazzi for over 2 hours. This took place in New York City.
The official statement from a spokesperson representing the couple said “Last night, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi. This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers… While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone's safety.”
There were several vehicles chasing them. These vehicles were running red lights, driving on sidewalks and more.
Why should this type of stalking and harassment be permitted in the United States, or anywhere? Why didn't anyone stop them?
Haven’t we learned anything from the Princess Diana crash? Why can’t people just allow others to live their lives no matter how famous they are?
.. the point is, it's just never too late to start. You can be the visionary of your own life. You can charter a path in which what you repeat in your daily acts of service, in kindness, in advocacy, in grace, and in fairness—that those become the very things that are recognized
