There's always gonna be people who hate us, and there's nothing we can do about it, but our lives and who we are is not defined by who hates us, it's defined by who loves us and who we love, and from that love comes all our strength.
That is why we are such a strong nation✡️🤍
We have the power to stand proud, push back against hate, and make sure the next generation never has to wonder if it’s safe to be Jewish. Together, we can shape a future rooted in courage and pride, a future where our voices echo louder than any hate.
Let’s raise them together.
@CombatASemitism Before the holocaust, they said, "It's not that serious." Untill it was. Now, they’re saying it again. This isn't history. This is now. If you're still pretending antisemitism isn't real, just watch what happened to my friend in London. Don't look away. Don't stay silent.
If we keep choosing to be the quiet, “safe” Jews who don’t speak up or push back, it won’t end well. History’s proved that more time than we can count.
Disagree if you want. That's your right. I’m not here for approval.
This is what happens when hate is brushed aside, when people justify it, or pretend not to see it when being openly Jewish becomes unsafe.
In Israel, being Jewish doesn't make you a target. It makes you home 🇮🇱
I would love to make a post for Instagram of people with Jewish pride at Reubens Bakery.
If you're going to be there with a Star of David, Israeli flag, or anything that makes you visibly Jewish, please DM me a photo and/or a video and I'll try to make something nice. Thank you.
If you're based in London or the area, please show love and support to Reubens Bakery.
They made sure my friend and all those affected were comforted and safe. They called authorities right away and took care of the scene. They need and deserve the support.

Little introduction to everyone who is new: Hey! I'm Akiva. An Israeli teenager speaking up for my people and inspiring the next generation of Jewish voices.
I'm mainly on Instagram, but I pop by here sometimes and would like to grow this platform.
Thank you all for the love.
While sitting at a bakery in London, a friend of mine was assaulted in an antisemitic attack just for being Jewish and eating at a kosher bakery.
This isn't history. This is now. If you're still pretending antisemitism isn't real, just watch. Don't look away. Don't stay silent.
@antisemitism Thanks for sharing! This isn't history. This is now. If you're still pretending antisemitism isn't real, just watch what happened to my friend. Don't look away. Don't stay silent. All who were involved must be held accountable for their actions.
Now it seems that they are freeing Palestine by throwing food over Jews at a kosher restaurant.
Do you recognise our country anymore? Thuggery is commonplace and the people of the solidarity movements and anti-racism awareness initiatives have gone awfully quiet.
Fewer than half of British Jews (43%) feel welcome in the UK. With attacks like these, is it any wonder?
Police have made an arrest and are reportedly treating this as a hate crime. Those responsible for any attack must face the full force of the law.

@Anjie_Conway@EnLiEretzAheret My friend who was attacked also didn't really understand what she said. I think she has a heavy Irish accent or something that made it hard to understand.
