BREAKING: Dr. @BalaWunti told the Senate Committee on Public Accounts that the widely circulated claim of ₦210 trillion missing from NNPC is not supported by the company's 2023 Audited Financial Statements.

He also stated under oath that no fraud or missing funds were reported during his tenure at NAPIMS and NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services.

According to Dr. Wunti, the ₦210 trillion figure came from adding ₦107 trillion in receivables to ₦103 trillion in payables two separate accounting entries that, under standard accounting principles, cannot be combined and described as "missing funds."
