@Nadeshot Yee swing looking great; slotted from the inside (got that draw shot he always wanted)
*Top of the backswing, clubhead (face) position is looking nastty – super shut (lethal misses, pulled left)
Power & consistency with that move though. gg
@_raymondwill Wilson.

• New XB Forged is insane
• DYNAPWR is an all-time level player’s forgiveness iron (Tay’s new QiMax is finally giving it a run)
DYNA Driver+FW’s (25-26) are there too; performance, feel, aesthetically
“Never thought I would be playing Wilson” – heard that a ton
1.) Qi35 driver yeah? Make sure the “13g” weight is at the front of the clubhead (towards the face); and the “3g” weight is in the back.
It’ll immediately neutralize spin a bit (if it’s not already set that way)
2.) Is the shaft on that driver a “Diamana” white? Or is it “Ventus?” (Or something else)
If it’s “Ventus” it’s missing “Velocore” – a premium (upcharge) part of the shaft that (because of stability in the tip) – it will stabilize, lower launch & lower spin on that swing (I.e. no swing changes needed)
And of course make sure regardless it’s an X-Stiff (6.5)
This one’s physics, not swing (I.e. tech & fit of the clubs), swing looks great
(Though if you want to try changing the swing to lower spin…):
• Put the ball WAY up in your stance (past your front foot on the left)
• Make sure your right shoulder doesn’t come with it (stays parallel, aligned to the target)
• Lean back a bit (look up “reverse-k”)
• When swinging through the ball don’t shift your weight forward, stay behind (stay leaned away, let your arms & body rotate not shift, on the way through)
Aka: SEND IT
@Casey CASEY did you know your brother Dean is in the movie “House of Dynamite” on Netflix – I’m literally exploding rn
Turned the movie on, 20mins in, I’m like “wait is that… Mr. Neistat”
Turns out it is. ITS: DEAN NEISTAT
He’s crushing it, I’m hype
@Top100Rick Having lots of players order up single 7-irons (often smaller profiles; I.e. blades, or their own current iron) – & adding that training grip onto it
The Scottie Scheffler effect
Put one on a single iron for my girl Ry (matching her Wilson ladies profile 7-iron). New golfer
@airplanebiscoff Vokey’s .06°K grind is unreal, might be worth trying
Had the .04°T in the bag three times but the leading edge grab was just risky
The .06°K has balance in a low bounce/lying clubhead + the versatility; I use it in literally any conditions on any type of grass (58.06°K)
I played more solo golf this year after straying away from it
Great for on-course practice/situational experience (shots that matter in the moment)
I sometimes record the rounds – (gives pressure/authenticity)
Aced a hole on a par-3 course (I.e. not a hole-in-one anyways); aced another hole on the same par-3 course 1-week later with friends (they got excited, it was def more fun experiencing those sort of moments with others, solo was more of a bummer/doesn’t feel valid)
Solo golf is what you make of it; I the value is establishing practice that can lead to fun results later on when playing with friends/in competition
@Top100Rick What would be the results for various handicaps?
+2, 0.0, 4, 8 (yours), 12, 16 etc.
Same key variables make the difference (putting, wedge-gapping, short-game, accuracy off the tee)
It starts to hit a threshold where lower hcps shoot deep (59), higher hcp’s explode (100+)
