@queersocialism Let's do math. Even a slim paperback is 2 cm thick - 10,000 of those is 200 metres of shelves. The paperback is 18 cm tall + 2 cm for the shelf itself, so you fit 12 shelves floor-to-bottom (2,4m). 200/12 = 17 metres wide. Massive. And real books are way bigger.

@jakesna @FredLambert how can you tell? as far as I can see, it was in self-driving mode until the exact moment it hit the first barrier, but of course the supervisor(!) would be able to press the accelerator to prod the FSD software to be more assertive while still staying in self-driving mode.

It is not allowed to canvas voters outside polling stations, however traditionally members of political parties silently hand out (pristine) voting slips and answer questions.

E.g., Hokkaido prefecture (which covers Sapporo) is 207 MB for the map itself and the Wikipedia dump is 46 MB.

In reality, this is Eero Saarinen's, the Finnish architect of Gateway Arch and Dulles Airport fame. Formerly the US Embassy, now offices and cafes.
