Gold Star Sister. Conservative Midwestern girl with an East Coast edge who’s happy to be back in a flyover state. My boys, old, young & 4-legged, make my world.
Hello again.
We’re currently in Clemson, South Carolina. I’ve decided to come back here to document the final part of our road trip.
The main reason I deactivated my account two weeks ago was that things became increasingly toxic. For some people, it’s unfortunately unfathomable that a good story can exist without some kind of hidden agenda behind it. There was even a Reddit group going through my entire account trying to find anything they could use to reveal my identity.
I know this was only a small percentage of people, but after a while it became exhausting. During the last two weeks, I received so many kind messages on Instagram, and they really made me realize how many people genuinely enjoyed following the trip. Some people even told me that their grandparents regularly ask them, “What are the Germans up to today?” I think that’s really cool.
I decided to continue because I realized that the overwhelming majority of people loved following along. A small group of very loud people shouldn’t be able to ruin something that brought so many others joy.
I also want to clear something up, as people who follow me on Instagram already know.
I’ve been to the United States before. This is not my first visit, and I’ve never claimed that it was. The last time I was here was in January 2022, when I visited New York and Philadelphia.
A lot of people shared my Raising Cane’s post from November 2025 to make it look like I was secretly American. That post wasn’t from the United States, it was from my trip to Saudi Arabia.
This is my first time back in the U.S. in more than four years, and apart from Boston, I’d never visited any of the places we’ve been to on this trip before. That’s probably why many people assumed it was our first time in America, because for all of these places, it actually was.
And let me tell you, Ohio and Alabama are very different from New York City or Los Angeles.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks for reading.
Jamie Dimon Shuts Down Axios CEO James VandeHei’s Criticism of President Trump
“You guys are always chasing your tails … Take immigration … Everyone said it can't be done. It’s hard to do. Actually it got done damn quickly.”
Photo 1 (widely shared 2023 version): Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao in a recovery/rehab setting. McConnell wears the red gingham shirt, smiles broadly while holding printed material, seated in the blue chair with white linens behind
Photo 2 (the version associated with the July 12, 2026 update): Appears identical to Photo 1 in every visible detail — same clothing, exact same pose and expressions, same background, same blue chair, same item in McConnell’s hand, same lighting and composition.
Side-by-side observation: These are the same photograph (originally from April 2023). No meaningful differences exist in subject positioning, clothing, facial expressions, background elements, or any other visual detail. Minor variations in cropping, resolution, or on-screen overlays (e.g., news logos or borders in different articles) may appear depending on the source, but the core image content is unchanged.
This confirms the image being referenced in recent discussions is the older one being recirculated. If you have different specific versions/URLs in mind, share them for further comparison!
Someone has some splaining to do!
Seeing the despicably cruel, heartless and abusive way that many people in UK and US have responded to the deaths of conservative politicians, Ann Widdecombe and Lindsey Graham, reminds me that the least kind people on earth are ironically those on the #BeKind woke left.
It was the middle of the night, at about 1.30am, when Norway lost to England.
Yet thousands of Norwegians went to the Palace in Oslo and celebrated with one final Viking row.
They did not riot. They did not burn cars. They did not smash bus stops or glass windows of shops.
They smiled. The laughed. They saw the positive in their performance. They celebrated their heritage. They were proud of who they have been in the past and who they are today.
Norway might be out of the World Cup 2026 but they are in our hearts.
In the last three weeks, I think we have all fallen a little bit in love with Norwegians.
These people are ridiculous.
They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to "fight tyranny." They have no identity but this. And they cling to it with a death grip, because they have nothing else.
None of it is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some "hero" in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting congress-free, senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country.
She is an infant.
She and others like her will not get their way. Not even close. If you have a modicum of common sense, it's time to let your line in the sand about tolerance be made known.
Myself, I have a limit to tolerance.
I have a limit to patience.
I know there is a limit to free speech.
If your plan is to tear down the United States of America, if your plan is treason, I will not tolerate you, I will have zero patience for you, and I will not defend your right to free speech.

BREAKING 🚨: “You are the highest ranking gay public policy officeholder... That hasn’t been the top line of your resume.”
SecScottBessent: “I go to the office every day knowing that I was chosen on merit.”
God bless Scott Bessent!
Trump says on @MeetThePress that he spoke to Sen. Lindsey Graham last night shortly before he died:
“What makes it even stranger is that I got a call last night, sometime you know the early evening, maybe in the sevens, and he called and he said we’re all set for the Save America Act.“
“He said he’s a little tired.”
To those who say we shouldn't believe the "official narrative":
The evidence for who killed Charlie Kirk is overwhelming.
But you're right that something is wrong here. It's just not what Candace is selling you.
Seven "bridge-building" organizations assembled on a conference call within two hours of the shooting. They activated, because UVU was already their campus, and Charlie Kirk's death was the crisis they needed to advance a social credit scoring system, grow their membership, and unlock funding they'd been chasing for years.
That's the coordination you've been looking for, right here in this thread.
BREAKING: DHS just rescued eight missing children who are victims of human trafficking during the World Cup in Kansas City. 14 people were arrested.
The legacy media will never report on this.
Thank you @dhsgov!
Three top officials in Zohran Mamdani’s administration tried to secretly meet with a senior Islamic Republic official.
The New York Times hasn’t written a word about it.
Weird.
