@KayNeely16 The 8th Amendment is founded on the principle of prohibiting "cruel and unusual punishments." Amidst the overabundance of unfair and in many cases inhumane incarceration practices, this policy calls for reformation among policyholders to adhere to the Supreme Court's standard.
