The IRS is threatening to seize a Tennessee man's farm after charging him interest on a $20,000 refund it accidentally sent him, which he immediately tried to return.

Wilson Perry Kirby, 76, says he was accidentally sent $20,000 by the IRS in 2022.

Kirby immediately tried returning the money and even hired an accountant to fix the issue.

Instead, the IRS is now charging him interest on the money he tried returning and is withholding his 2025 tax refund.

"I've tried the president, governor, mayor. They don't mind asking you to vote for them, but when you need help you can't get ahold of nobody," Kirby said.

Despite trying to fix the problem, the IRS is still sending letters, demanding he pay interest on the money they accidentally sent him that he tried to return. He never spent it.

The IRS is now threatening to seize his farm if he doesn't pay the up to $4300 (and growing) interest.

Infuriating.

I’ve worked in social media marketing my whole life, I’ve seen many psyops and been behind many psyops.

I found Freddy’s account at 14k followers and watched him grow.

Freddy is a normal dude who shared a fun trip the US and got more attention than he bargained for. He was not planted by Ron DeSantis or Walmart.

He toured a few stadiums? Met JJ Watt? Got put in a couple nice hotels?

That’s the power of the internet.

He’s a guy who got lucky, accepted maybe 1/20th of the free stuff offered to him by companies looking for good PR, and kept his identity private (just like lottery winners do) because he knows how many weird individuals and jealous individuals live online.

I’d bet my life Freddy had mid-six figures of brand deals in his DMs, but as soon as people got toxic and he stopped having fun he dipped.

FACT CHECK: A “jury of your peers” does NOT mean the jurors have to be the same race as the defendant.

You confidently claimed that because there wasn’t someone the same color as the defendant on the jury, it wasn’t a jury of his peers. That is 100% false.

A jury of your peers means a jury selected from the community and judged by fellow citizens. It does NOT mean every juror has to match the defendant’s race, gender, religion, age, or background.

If that were true, every defendant would be entitled to a jury custom-built to mirror their demographics. That’s not how the legal system works.

The Constitution requires that juries be selected from a fair cross-section of the community. It does NOT require that the final jury contain members of any particular race.

The idea that people can only fairly judge someone if they share the same skin color is not only legally wrong, it’s an incredibly racist way of viewing the justice system.

Also, Karmelo was NOT 130 lbs. But clearly you don’t get your info from anything other than racist social media influencers instead of the documented FACTS.
