요즘 네트워크 얘기할 때 자꾸 빠지는 게 하나 있다고 느껴요.

기술 스펙이나 토큰 구조보다 더 중요한 건, 결국 누가/왜/어떻게 꾸준히 기여하느냐인데

Billions를 보면서 흥미로웠던 점은 성장을 숫자만으로 정의하기보다, 기여가 쌓이는 루프를 만들려는 시도가 보인다는 것.

특히 커뮤니티가 단순 소비자가 아니라 초기 개척자로 포지셔닝될 때 네트워크의 속도가 달라지거든요. 초반엔 느려 보여도 한 번 루프가 돌아가기 시작하면 복리로 커집니다.

Billions가 앞으로 확장될 때 사람들이 어떤 이유로 남는지가 궁금하네요.

다음 업데이트에서 이 부분이 어떻게 구체화되는지 보고 싶고
독도 파이오니어라는 내러티브를 캠페인이 아니라 문화로 만들 수 있다면 꽤 강하다고 봅니다.

요즘 Web3에서 점점 더 중요해지는 건 “누가 먼저 크게 말하느냐”보다 “누가 신뢰 가능한 참여자인가”라고 생각한다.

프로젝트가 커질수록 봇, 중복 계정, 형식적인 참여가 늘어나고, 결국 보상과 기회가 진짜 유저보다 시스템을 잘 우회하는 쪽으로 쏠리는 경우가 많다. 이런 구조는 커뮤니티를 키우는 것 같아 보여도 장기적으로는 신뢰를 깎아먹는다.

그 점에서 Billions가 흥미로운 이유는 단순 onboarding 툴이 아니라, 디지털 환경에서 신뢰 가능한 참여의 기준을 다시 세우려는 방향성을 갖고 있기 때문이다.
특히 개인정보를 과하게 드러내지 않으면서도 사람임을 증명하고, 필요한 조건만 검증하는 방식은 앞으로 훨씬 더 중요해질 것 같다.
AI, 토큰 분배, 커뮤니티 성장, 규제 대응까지 결국 공통적으로 필요한 건
검증은 되지만 프라이버시는 지켜지는 구조다.
Billions는 바로 그 지점을 꽤 선명하게 겨냥하고 있는 프로젝트로 보인다.

기술이 앞서가는 프로젝트는 많지만,
실제로 오래 가는 프로젝트는 신뢰 구조를 먼저 만든다고 본다.

Billions를 보면서 가장 인상적이었던 건 단순한 인증 서비스가 아니라, 프라이버시를 해치지 않으면서도 신뢰를 만들려는 구조를 갖추고 있다는 점이었다.

특히 Proof of Humanity, zk-KYC, age verification 같은 활용 사례를 보면, 핵심은 정보를 더 많이 수집하는 것이 아니라 필요한 자격만 증명하는 방향에 가깝다. 이 접근이야말로 앞으로 Web3와 디지털 서비스가 커질 때 더 중요해질 것 같다.

개인적으로는 safe token distribution use case가 가장 현실적으로 와닿았다. 보상이 실제 사용자에게 돌아가고, Sybil 공격을 줄이는 구조가 갖춰져야 커뮤니티도 더 건강하게 성장할 수 있기 때문이다.

Billions는 단순히 인증을 말하는 프로젝트가 아니라, 신뢰,프라이버시,공정한 참여를 함께 설계하려는 프로젝트처럼 보인다. 그래서 계속 추적해볼 가치가 있다고 생각한다.
