As a CA, I feel stuck.

Clients are calling for answers, but I can’t even guide them properly. Why?

Because till 17th Sept we were buried in ITR filings.
Now Tax Audit, and still — NO extension announced.

Neither clients get clarity, nor do we get breathing space.

This isn’t efficiency, it’s BURNOUT.

The Hon'ble Rajasthan Court has extended the deadline for filing the Tax Audit from September 30th to October 31st.

Most High Courts are expected to issue similar favorable orders soon.

Original ITR due date was 31 July, extended to 15 Sep.

Tax audit due date remains 30 Sep with no extension.

70% of CAs are sole props who complete ITRs then start audits, needing 2 months; IT Dept should be aware.

Instead of wasting judicial time, they could have notified the extension earlier.

Big News - Karnataka High Court order For Date Extension 30 Days

Hon’ble High Court has ruled in favour of KSCAA. The Court has directed CBDT to extend the due date for Tax Audit by 30 days.
