As many of you know, public broadcasting (@PBS and @NPR) is in our government’s crosshairs, thanks to a disingenuous effort to root out “fraud and inefficiency” in our national budget and cut waste to help balance it. While our government pays about $1.60 a year per citizen to help fund public media, most developed countries have much more generous government funding for this important resource. (For example, British households pay a TV license fee of US$220 a year for the @BBC.) Here in America, there are many reasons why just $1.60 a year per citizen for PBS and NPR is a smart and practical investment in our democracy. (Unless, of course, you are afraid of an engaged electorate with broad perspectives and a healthy curiosity about our world.)

These things about Biden and Trump are true. There used to only be one version of reality. Here is some reality:

Biden was *clearly* slipping in the last 18-24 months of his Presidency, mentally and otherwise. Just like Reagan but even more so. He should have bowed out earlier than he did. He is a decent, honest guy who has empathy and cares about other humans. Democrats are not a cult so they finally realized it was too much and pushed him out, too late. The MSM has attacked these shortcomings nonstop for a year after ignoring them previously. They also wrote endless stories of Hunter Biden’s ~$5,000,000 in income that admittedly came because of who his dad was, not even a rounding error compared to the endless Trump grifting that goes on every minute.

Trump’s brain is like oatmeal. He very constantly spews out totally delusional nonsense and lies at a level unlike any other person alive. Because he is the leader of the largest willfully blind cult ever formed in the
history of the world, he was able to overcome committing nearly endless crimes, which is something he is now doing on an hourly & daily basis, more than ever before, and be elected again. He did this as the MSM and much of the population became numb to and ignored/ignores the utter derangement and lunacy and transparently demented lies that spew forth from Trump *every single day*, separate from the non-stop grifting of BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS by him and his family and closest enablers, often in incredibly brazen ways.

Trump is a textbook malignant narcissist and off the charts conscienceless sociopath who cares about nobody outside of his immediate very tight circle of family and friends, who enable him and purposefully ignore every misfire of his brain and every lie he spills out all day and night. He has eliminated anyone who has any sense of decency around him so that he has only mindless sycophants and yes men who lie to and manipulate him, its why he often repeats the same insane provable lies dozens of times as nobody will correct him and why he makes reckless decisions and is told how amazing he is by those around him, which spurs him onto the next totally reckless and insane decision.

Trump has put the Presidency for sale with crypto grifting and direct and indirect bribes on a scale that is impossible to know since he has made crypto an unregulated criminal enterprise for money laundering and bribe taking. This is separate from the crazy Qatar plane bribe “approved” by his AG, a former paid lobbyist for Qatar!

Fox News distorts reality of his insanity 24/7 by curating his craziness and him doing the same things on an exponentially bigger scale that Trump and others accuse the MSM and others around Biden of having done in hiding Biden’s obvious slippage. Anyone who thinks the worst imaginable cumulative Biden story and his enabling is even 5% as bad as Trump’s cumulative behavior and enabling is completely dishonest and self interested, or a cultist.
